The Plano Dentist selects a local charity organization each year to be the recipient of the funds raised through our Smiles for Life Campaign. The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County has been our recipient beginning in 2019. The Children’s Advocacy Center supports children in Collin county that are victims of abuse and provides a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals may share information and develop effective, coordinated strategies sensitive to the needs of each unique case and child.
Each December, The Plano Dentist team volunteers with Feed My Starving Children, where we pack hundreds of meals that are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Feed My Starving Children distributes these packaged meals to over 104 countries world wide.

February is dental health month and here at The Plano Dentist, we know how important proper dental education is and the needs of children to understand good oral hygiene. Each February our resident “Tooth Fairy”, Penelope, goes around to day care centers and elementary schools in our community to educate children about proper oral health.
